When I was younger I never thought I would fish, my family didn’t fish, and it never crossed my mind. When I met my partner he said he was going, and I thought I would tag along to see what it’s all about. From that day on I was hooked, I loved everything about it. Despite working full time in the industry and talking about fishing every day, I still get that excitement, and the desire to be on the bank as much as possible – I try my best to go most weeks.

I use my annual leave every year to head to France to fish either paid lakes or rivers. They are both very different, but both rewarding in their own ways. There is always something new to learn as fishing is always developing and evolving.

I’ve got so many personal targets I want to hit in fishing this year and the years to come, I am keeping my fingers crossed to achieve them. Having the opportunity to team up with Evolve Tackle has definitely completed one of them already, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
