When it comes to angling, I was a late starter, not casting a rod out until finishing school at around 16. I had some lost time to make up for! It didn’t take long however to become well and truly obsessed and not long into my angling career, I picked up camera for the first time.

After seeing what this new world had to offer, I decided I needed a way to document it, soon realising that snapping a photograph I was pleased with equalled that feeling of catching a fish. Inevitably I had to combine these two passions into a career which brings us up to my current position.

I’ve been working for CARPology for over 5 years now, creating video content on a full time basis for the ever growing YouTube channel. I have produced hundreds, if not thousands of carp fishing related videos.

Over the years my angling has changed dramatically, 3 nights a week on a syndicate is no longer viable and my sessions have now become ‘pinging a rod out whilst working’ on the whole. So like many of us, maximising those few hours on the bank is imperative. Which is what got me super excited when James showed me the range of Evolve products, I knew I had to be involved!

Within the near future my life (both angling and personal) is set to change dramatically, with an extended notice handed in at CARPology and a view to travel all over Europe with my partner in our converted camper van, opportunist angling is going to be the key to success. Who knows where these Evolve systems may be cast out… Bled would be lovely wouldn’t it?
