Run Ring System – Leader
Step 1
Splice your chosen Evolve size 8 swivel onto your leader, and using a gated needle pass the bead onto your leader.
Step 2
Cut one of the silicone sleeves provided to size (if necessary), and pass over the weight link. Attach your chosen weight, then slide the silicone sleeve down over the weight link and swivel (as required).
Step 3
Slide the angled run ring and weight onto the leader in the orientation shown.
Step 4
Pull the swivel into the bead. Moisten the bead, and push the angled run ring onto the bead until it clicks into place – Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish semi-fixed!
Step 5
For a free running system, slide the angled ring and weight off the bead, and add the running sleeve to your leader.
Step 6
Push the running sleeve onto the bead until it clicks into place, and slide the angled run ring back and weight down onto the bead and running sleeve – Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish free running!
