In-Line Run Ring System – Tubing/Naked

Step 1

Slide the cap onto your mainline.

Step 2

If using tubing, place tubing onto the line (Tip: cut tubing at a sharp angle at lower end to make insertion into the bead easier).

Now add the bead, ensuring the larger bore on the bead is facing away from your swivel (larger bore of the bead towards the sharp angled cut on your tubing – flared end of the bead towards the swivel).

Now attach your chosen Evolve swivel.

Step 3

If using tubing, push the tubing into the bead.

Step 4

Moisten the bead and fit it into cap in the same orientation as shown (flared end up to match the features on the cap – Radiused lower edge down) for a flush finish.

Step 5

Place the insert into your weight/lead.

Step 6

Cut the insert to length using scissors, using the cutting guide marker on the rear of the cap to indicate the ideal cutting position.

Step 7

You should have approximately 5mm of threaded insert protruding from the top of your weight/lead.

Step 8

Now attach your weight/lead by screwing it into the cap.

Align the cap to the flat side of your weight/lead (ideally to align the weight with a leader groove), and whilst holding the cap in position tighten using the tool supplied.

Step 9

Once pinched tight and all is aligned, insert your chosen Evolve size 8 swivel into the inserts “+” or “-“ setting.

Step 10

Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish!
