Heli System – Naked

Step 1

Using the fob provided, slide a naked heli sleeve onto your mainline. Moisten the line above the heli sleeve and then slide it into position on your mainline.

Step 2

Slide a tungsten heli bead onto your mainline.

Step 3

Moisten the naked heli sleeve, and position the tungsten heli bead into your desired position on the naked heli sleeve (top of the sleeve is the lowest release force, base of sleeve is hardest release force).

Step 4

Slide your chosen Evolve size 8 swivel onto your mainline.

Step 5

If you wish to cut your naked heli buffer sleeve down to a shorter length, do so now, using the cutting guides on the naked heli buffer sleeve as a guide.

Slide you naked heli buffer sleeve onto you mainline (tapered end first as shown).

Step 6

Tie your weight link (or weight if you are directly attaching) to your mainline with your preferred knot.

Step 7

Attach your chosen weight/lead onto the weight link, and slide the naked heli buffer sleeve down to cover the weight link and/or swivel (heli buffer sleeve will align to the weight link/swivel eye as you slide it down).

Step 8

Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish!
