In-Line Run Ring System – Leader

Step 1

Splice on your chosen size 8 Evolve swivel.

Step 2

Using a gated needle, add your bead onto your leader ensuring the larger bore is facing away from the swivel (flared end of bead towards the swivel).

Step 3

Add the cap onto your leader by inserting your leader through the cap bore, from front to back.

Step 4

Moisten the bead and insert it into the cap bore.

Step 5

Place the insert into the weight/lead.

Step 6

Cut insert to size using the cutting guide on the rear of the cap (position the cap on top of the weight/lead and cut the insert at the line to achieve the perfect length).

Step 7

You should have approximately 5mm of threaded insert protruding from the top of your weight/lead.

Step 8

Now attach your weight/lead by screwing it into the cap.

Align the cap to the flat side of your weight/lead (ideally to align the weight with the leader groove), and whilst holding the cap in position tighten using the tool supplied.

Step 9

Once pinched tight and all is aligned, you are ready to insert your swivel.

Step 10

Place your swivel into the inserts “+” or “-“ fitting.

Step 11

Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish!
