Step 1
Cut one end of your tubing at an angle, and thread the tubing onto your mainline with the angled end facing the clip/down (If fishing ‘naked’, ignore step 1).
Step 2
Pass your clip onto your mainline as shown.
Step 3
Pass your bead onto your mainline, ensuring the beads larger bore is facing away from the swivel, and towards your tubing.
Step 4
Insert your tubing into the bead.
Step 5
Attach your chosen Evolve size 8 swivel to your mainline.
Step 6
Moisten the bead and insert it into the clip, ensuring the bead is inserted with the radiused front edge down (smooth assembly on top).
Step 7
Insert your swivel into the clips “+” or “-“ setting (shown in the “+” fitting).
Step 8
Pull the swivel all the way into clip, locating it into your chosen “+” or “-“ setting.
Step 9
Using one of the silicone sleeves provided, cut to length (make sure the silicone sleeve is a suitable length so the weight link can freely rotate on the clip later).
Step 10
Push the cut silicone sleeve over the weight link.
Step 11
Attach your weight to the weight link and slide your silicone sleeve down over the link/swivel.
Attach your chosen rig and you are ready to fish!
Step 12
Tip: If using mesh PVA bags, pass a Fine Bait Needle through the small hole on the side of the clip, then thread PVA string through and tie around the underside of the clip. This will temporarily lock the swivel into the clip for the cast.
